There are a lot of great storytellers in the world. For over fifteen years as a solo artist, Hardcore kid and childhood Heavy Metal devotee Frank Turner has mined the considerable depths of his life experience to bring his raw delivery, and his unique take on the human condition. His transparent honesty as a person and artist has earned him a lot of love from fans, and respect in general from his peers. At the end of the day, he’s just a regular guy, sharing his story. Much like the rest of us, but sorting it out one verse, one song, one album at a time.

Silence In The Snow – Levitation Chamber
No metal band is complete without an inane photo shot. Usually, this features several hairy blokes standing in a quarry, forest, graveyard or branch of FarmFoods (Editor’s note: unless you are Morrissey). They will be tilting their heads at an angle, their useless arms hanging at the side like flaccid eels, or folded in a sort of passive-aggressive way. Their t-shirts will not be tucked in. The Rolling Stones Release The Ride ‘Em On Down Video Featuring Kristen Stewart
Blue and Lonesome hits stores today, and the overall response to the 25th studio album by The Rolling Stones has been extremely positive. The legends returned to their blues upbringing, and created an amazing record full of ’50s-era deep cuts from the likes of Jimmy Reed, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter and Magic Sam.
