Mike Patton Cancels NFL Appearance Due To Illness


Mike Patton (Faith No More, Dead Cross, Mr. Bungle, Mondo Cane, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, Fantômaswas slated to sing the US National Anthem ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ yesterday before the Dallas Cowboys versus the Los Angels Rams NFL Playoffs game. Sadly, at the last-minute, Patton canceled due to illness. Too bad since Patton is a legend and it would have been rad to see him sing in a more traditional setting. Get well soon Mike! We hope you get another shot someday.

Mike Patton To Sing US National Anthem At An NFL Game This Weekend

Legendary singer and artist Mike Patton (Faith No More, Dead Cross, Mondo Cane, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom) will sing the United States National Anthem, ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ by Francis Scott Key, at tomorrow’s (January 12th, 2019) NFL playoffs game between The Dallas Cowboys vs. The Los Angeles Rams. The game starts at 8:15 EST. Patton is widely regarded as the best singer in heavy music with a four-octave range.Continue reading


Watch Mike Patton Perform General Patton And Peeping Tom Material Live With A DJ


While Mike Patton can be busy with any of his projects at one time, some of his older work doesn’t get dusted off as much while he writes and tours with Dead Cross among others. This weekend saw Patton perform two sets with DJ Qbert at The Chapel in San Francisco, CA, where he performed some rarities, including his General Patton and Peeping Tom songs.
