Following up 2016’s independently released EP, The Saint of Killers, Massachusetts act Let Us Prey return with their first full-length album, Virtues of the Venomous (M-Theory Audio). With vocalist Marc Lopes better known for being frontman for Ross the Boss, time for his other projects has proved elusive, but now the wait is over.
Let Us Prey has shared a new music video and single for “The Saint of Killers” from their upcoming album, Virtues of the Vicious, due out July 24th on M-Theory Audio. Ending speculation by fans and misinformation in the press, All That Remains have formally announced Jason Richardson (ex-Born of Osiris, ex-Chelsea Grin) as their new full-time guitarist. The band released a statement via social media after a recent interview and press coverage misquoted the band as saying they were not ready to name a replacement. Richardson had filled in for the band as a temp performer on their most recent tour of Europe with Sevendust. Richardson steps in for Oli Herbert who died on October 17th of 2018. In a post to the Official Oli Herbert Page on Facebook, the cause of death for the late All That Remains guitarist Oli Herbert has been revealed. Herbert passed away from drowning. He also had anti-depressants in his system that he was not prescribed for or under treatment for. As a result of this news, the family has decided to cancel the public memorial that was to be held at the Worcester Palladium, tomorrow, November 11th. After a private funeral service was held for Oli Herbert, the public memorial for the late All That Remains guitarist will be held on Sunday, November 11 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Worcester Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Palladium is practically the bands’ hometown venue and they played there many times. The memorial service will be open to the public with entrance on a “first-come, first served” basis for up to 350 people. An optional donation of $10 per person is suggested for admission to benefit the 14th Hour Foundation, a charity that was very important to Oli. Kris Paronto, founder of 14th Hour Foundation, appeared in the new ATR music video for the track ‘Madness’. Each person who donates $10 will receive a raffle ticket for door prizes to be raffled during the service. The memorial service will include a special video presentation to include photos, music videos and artist tributes. Fans are invited to contribute photos taken of Oli at shows and/or with themselves and Oli. Submissions should be sent no later than noon on Thursday, November 8 to Suzanne Penley via e-mail to: suzanne@suzannepenley.com.
