We are thrilled to announce the first major line-up for Download Festival 2025 (DLXXII), featuring three first-time headliners: punk-rock royalty Green Day, the enigmatic and meteoric Sleep Token, and nu-metal legends Korn. Over 90 bands have been confirmed, including Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Jimmy Eat World, Within Temptation, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darkness, Poppy, Loathe, Spiritbox, and many more. The franchising of Download Festival continues after terrific forays into France and Spain with Sydney and Melbourne, Australia now shaping up to be one of the stronger festival lineups in recent memory. Six new bands have joined a killer lineup including Sum 41, Thy Art Is Murder, 12 Foot Ninja, Pennywise, Slaves (UK) and Voyager. Download Festival has made a major announcement for 2019 with Def Leppard, Slipknot, and Tool announced as the three headliners. This is major news as Def Leppard, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame nominees are still a huge global touring act, while Slipknot and Tool seem poised to dominate in 2019 with new albums hopefully from each. Download Festival Australia has been announced for 2019, as a two-date festival experience in Sydney and Melbourne next March. Headling the festival are Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Judas Priest, Alice In Chains and Ghost are among the confirmed bands. These two shows will represent Ozzy’s only shows in Australia on the “No More Tears 2” tour. More bands will be announced soon. Punk Rock Bowling, the three day music festival in Downtown Las Vegas on May 22-25, 2015 has added Me First and The Gimme Gimmes, Manic Hispanic and The All Brights (featuring members of the Loved Ones and Good Riddance) at Bunkhouse.
