Metallica continues to share new pro-shot videos from their recent return to the stage. The band headliend the Danny Wimmer presents festival Louder Than Life last weekend. They topped the bill on two nights, with two different shows, including one where they performed all of “The Black Album.” They also recently played series of rare intimate shows earlier this month at the The Metro in Chicago and The independent in San Francisco. The band texted their fans via a new service and the tickets to the tiny venues, and both shows sold out in less than 1 hour. Metallica just released The Black Album Remastered Boxed Set and The Black Album Blacklist covers album on September 10th, 2021. Mudvayne Reunites After A 12-Year Break, Booked to Play All Four Danny Wimmer Presents 2021 Festivals


 

Mudvayne is back! As we reported they would several months ago, they have announced their return after a 12-year hiatus, and will be performing exclusively at all four Danny Wimmer Presents U.S. festivals in 2021: Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival (a headlining performance) in Ohio, Louder Than Life in Kentucky, Aftershock in California and Welcome To Rockville in Florida. Staind Announces New Live Album and Livestream Series


Multi-platinum active rock band Staind has returned to activity with a new live album from their comeback tour in 2019 and has also announced a livestream series. The band will release their first album in 9 Years, Live: It’s Been Awhile, on May 7th, 2021. The performance comes from their tour stop in their comeback show at their old stomping grounds at Foxwoods Casino and Resorts in Connecticut, a short drive from the band’s Massachusetts roots. Danny Wimmer Presents Announces Schedule for Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, Welcome To Rockville, and Aftershock

The leading independent live entertainment producer and promoter Danny Wimmer Presents has announced the upcoming festival calendar for the year. The event lineup includes the return of fan favorites Louder Than Life and Welcome To Rockville, alongside the previously announced Aftershock, and new to the DWP family, Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Louder Than Life, the largest rock festival in America, will take place September 23-26, 2021 at Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky and will be adding a Thursday night celebration event to kick off the weekend. All current pass holders will receive admission to the newly added Thursday night kickoff celebration for free.

Metallica Pulls Out of Sonic Temple and Louder than Life Fests, Citing Personal Issues


Metallica has pulled out of their upcoming expected headline gigs at Sonic Temple this spring and Louder than Life next fall. This is due to James Hetfield’s ongoing recovery work and a need to prioritize his personal self-care, which has suffered in recent years. The band will honor all other shows this year, including Welcome To Rockville. Tool and The Red Hot Chili Peppers will step in for both festivals.
