Watch The Reunited Lineup of Machine Head Play “Davidian” In The Studio


As we previously reported, Machine Head has reunited with original members Logan Mader and Chris Kontos to tour behind the 25th-anniversary release of Burn My Eyes (Roadrunner). The tour is already selling out shows all over the world. The band went into Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California and re-recorded their debut album in-its-entirety complete with play-through videos. Machine Head To Re-Record and Release “Burn My Eyes” Later in 2019


 

Machine Head has announced they will release a re-recorded new version of their classic 1994 album Burn My Eyes album. Frontman Robb Flynn has told U.K.’s Kerrang! magazine that a re-recorded version of the band’s 1994 album, “Burn My Eyes”, will be released later in the year.Continue reading

After the surprising news that Machine Head will tour behind Burn My Eyes with a special lineup of the band in 2019, the band got together – Robb Flynn, Logan Mader, Chris Kontos, and current bassist Jared MacEachern to perform all of Burn My Eyes in its entirety next fall. The shows will consist of the “An Evening With…” a first set with the current lineup of Machine Head performs their more recent hits and other songs, followed by a second full BME set. Machine Head Will Reunite with Some Original Members for “Burn My Eyes 25 Tour”


In a surprising development from the Machine Head camp, three-quarters of the original Burn My Eyes era lineup of the band will reunite for a new headline tour. Founder and mainstay Robb Flynn will join with Logan Mader and Chris Kontos to perform all of Burn My Eyes in its entirety next fall. The shows will consist of the “An Evening With…” a first set with the current lineup of Machine Head performs their more recent hits and other songs, followed by a second full BME set. Current Machine Head bassist Jared MacEachern will perform both sets. Machine Head are auditioning guitarists and drummers to fill out their present lineup. The dates kick off in Germany on October 5 in Freiburg, and continue across Europe, wrapping in Dublin, Ireland on November 8. The U.S. leg will be announced in due course; those dates are set for November into December as the tour makes its way around the globe.
