Umbilicus is a new Floridian Retro Rock band that is made up of Death Metal royalty featuring drummer and lyricist of Cannibal Corpse drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, Taylor Nordberg (Inhuman Condition, The Absence, Fore) on guitar, Vernon Blake (Anarchus, Napalm Death [Live]) on bass, and vocalist Brian Stephenson (Fore, Old James). Crusadist Books Tour Dates with Inhuman Condition

ALBUM REVIEW: Inhuman Condition – Rat God


While all things toxic (waste; holocausts; um, waltzing) have long been a regular bedfellow for the lyric writers and album cover artists that inhibit the pungent worlds of Thrash and Death Metal, it also lurks in another sense; behind the scenes and pervading the environment of many bands relationships.
