ALBUM REVIEW: Ministry – Moral Hygiene


It’s hard to believe that industrial legends Ministry have been around (in one incarnation or another) for forty years but here they are in 2021, returning with their fifteenth full length studio album. Another title including amusing wordplay, Moral Hygiene (Nuclear Blast Records) is yet another solid release by Al Jourgensen and co. and features a few surprises along the way.

Iggy and The Stooges “Metallic KO” 8 Disc Boxed Set Coming Soon 


Proto-Punk rock legends Iggy and the Stooges will see an amazing 8 disc boxed set celebrating their final show in 1976, before their reunion 29 years later, Metallic KO and French label Skydog. Now all of the Skydog label’s Iggy releases, remastered, in a clam-shell box set containing seven CDs and a DVD – a fitting tribute to the label’s punk pioneer boss Marc Zermati, who passed away in June. Marc started Skydog in 1973, arguably Europe’s first independent rock label, and in the same year that Metallic KO was released he organized the “First Punk Festival” in Mont de Marsan. He worked closely with The Clash, Johnny Thunders, Wilko Johnson, and Chrissie Hynde, and many others. Watch the trailer now!

Fuzz Evil – Fuzz Evil

Hailing from Sierra Vista, Arizona are Fuzz Evil, formed in 2014 by Wayne (guitar/vocals) and Joseph Rudell (bass/vocals) whose previous band was the wonderfully named Powdered Wig Machine, with Marlin Tuttle on drums rounding off the trio. This Fuzz Evil’s self titled début came out last month on Battleground Records and it is a loud blast of punk energy, with a wonderfully colourful and psychedelic front cover that the Blues Pills would be proud of.Continue reading
