Watch Glenn Tipton Perform With Judas Priest Live In Japan


Judas Priest performed last week in Japan for two shows on November 28th and 29th at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, and at Musashino Forest Arena. As he had done repeatedly in 2018, Glenn Tipton joined the band each night for an encore of Priest classics ‘Metal Gods’, ‘Breaking The Law’ and ‘Living After Midnight’. Tipton is retiring from touring and active status with the band due to his battle with Parkinson’s disease. Watch fan-filmed footage of both shows below. Judas Priest Books North American Tour With Uriah Heep


Heavy Metal legends Judas Priest have booked a new North American tour for next spring. Uriah Heep will open all shows. Kicking off on May 3 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida and wrapping up on June 29 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band will also perform at festivals in the USA, like the just-announced Welcome To Rockville. Priest continues to support their album Firepower (Epic) from earlier this year. Continue reading

Judas Priest – Saxon – Black Star Riders: Live At Worcester Palladium


On Friday, March 23rd, Judas Priest rolled into the newly renovated Worcester Palladium for a sold-out date on their Firepower Tour with legends Saxon and Black Star Riders. What a breath of fresh air this show was. I honestly can’t remember the last concert I attended that did not have at least one band on the bill with some sort of controversy surrounding them or was not inclined to espouse their political beliefs on stage (whether for the better or worse). Watch Glen Tipton Join Judas Priest On Stage In New Jersey


The heavy metal world was surely saddened when Judas Priest announced mainstay guitarist Glen Tipton had to step down from the current tour supporting their new smash album Firepower (Epic). Fans were elated when Glen appeared at their only record signing planned for this leg of the tour in New York on Monday, March 19th. Last night in New Jersey at the Prudential Center stop of the tour in Newark New Jersey, Tipton joined The Priest for the final three songs of the set. He played the encore of song encore: ‘Metal Gods’, ‘Breaking The Law’ and ‘Living After Midnight’. He got a huge standing ovation, played well and even took a solo! Watch below.
