Singer/guitarist Tommy Shaw of Styx has shared a previously unreleased acoustic version of the Led Zeppelin classic, “Going to California” via Styx’s label, Alpha Dog 2T, Inc. It will be available for streaming only on all digital platforms, including Spotify, starting today. While it was recorded many years ago, Shaw thought it was the perfect time to pull it out of the vault for fans to enjoy.
Behemoth Shares New Single and Video – “A Forest” ft Niklas Kvarforth of Shining
Behemoth will release a new EP, A Forest, on May 29th via Metal Blade Records. The EP’s title track is a cover of The Cure track, and it features a guest appearance by Shining frontman Niklas Kvarforth. The A Forest EP also includes a live version of the title track as well as two previously unreleased BEHEMOTH songs recorded during the I Loved You At Your Darkest album sessions. Pop and Jazz singer Norah Jones has done some pretty amazing covers over the years, but none so perfect as her spine-tingling take on ‘Patience’ by Guns N Roses. Stuck at home due to self-quarantine from Coronavirus, Jones shared her piano and guitar cover to Twitter on Thursday 3/19/2020.
