ALBUM REVIEW: Black Map – Hex


For a band composed of members of other prog bands, creating something more melodic based in the post-hardcore-meets-hard-rock project, Black Map was something not entirely expected over a decade ago. Now three albums into the band’s career, and the band have made huge strides, having the technicality of their previous progressive bands and bringing it into a whole new scene, Black Map captured something new. Coal Chamber Pulls Out of Aftershock 2024, Due to Dez Fafara’s Ongoing Health Issues


Coal Chamber has announced they have canceled their appearance at Aftershock 2024 next weekend. This is following the postponement of their fall 2024 tour dates until spring 2025 due to ongoing health issues suffered by frontman Dez Fafara. The band has been replaced on the bill by their frequent touring mates Dope. The fest still features Slayer, Slipknot, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Pantera, Judas Priest, FFDP, Disturbed, Biohazard, Shadows Fall, and 130 more of your favorite artists. Continue reading
