Gothic metal band, Blackbriar, have just released a brand new song titled “Moonflower.” Featuring UK based/Russian born singer-songwriter, Marjana Seminka, the track comes with its own music video. This is their first music since the release of A Dark Euphony in September 2023. The band are also out on tour in the US from May 09th, then in Europe and the UK later in the year. Reformed in 2014 by original guitarists Richard Marcus and Greg Witwer, the band is known for their creative songcraft featuring classical orchestras, choirs, and operatic vocals with hint of folk, colliding with extreme elements found in death metal and black metal which some have labeled as “Beautality.” In 2019, the band released their second full-length album, Live to Tell the Story (Sliptrick Records). Amaranthe Forced to Cancel Their North American Tour
Amaranthe, who recently announced their sixth studio album will be released this fall via Nuclear Blast Records, has been forced to cancel their North American tour. With the current state of the Covid-19 pandemic their upcoming North American 2020 tour is canceled. The tour was to have also featured Battle Beast and Seven Spires. All ticket holders will be refunded by the service where they made the purchase. Please note the promoters are working diligently to refund the payments in a timely manner and appreciate ticket holders patience during the process. Released in Japan and the UK earlier in the year, other territories have had to wait until now to hear the latest album by Japanese power metallers, Lovebites. Every bit as impressive as their previous records, Electric Pentagram (Victor Records) even draws inspiration from the likes of Slayer for their latest release, the appropriately titled opening track, ‘Thunder Vengeance’ having been conceived after watching the legendary thrashers at Download Festival Japan in 2019.
