Lindsay Schoolcraft and Cradle of Filth Have Parted Ways


Sad news as Lindsay Schoolcraft, the longest-tenured keyboardist and backing vocalist in Cradle of Filth has departed the band. The separation was mutual and respectful as Lindsay is focusing on her growing solo career under her own moniker with a JUNO Awards nominated solo-album Martyr, from 2019, and her black metal band Antiqua with Xen of Ne Obliviscaris. The band has replacement selected, but not yet announced. Cradle is working on a new album, which Lindsay has been working on with them. It will be the follow up to Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay, out now via their long-time label Nuclear Blast. Continue reading


Megadeth and Lamb of God Team Up with Trivium and In Flames for Huge Tour

The North American shows will also feature Trivium and In Flames as direct support for the entire run. Slipknot Performs Live at BBC’s Maida Vale Studios


Slipknot stopped by at BBC Radio’s Maida Vale studio during their recent UK tour to perform an intimate live performance. On January 26. 120 fans witnessed the band play a six-song set featuring ‘Unsainted’, ‘Psychosocial’, ‘The Devil In I’, ‘Duality’, ‘Disasterpiece’ and ‘Wait And Bleed’. The audio the entire performance aired on Sunday, February 9th on BBC Radio 1’s “Rock Show” and can be heard at this location. Video footage of the “Unsainted” and “Duality” renditions was uploaded to the BBC Radio 1 YouTube channel and can be seen below. Slipknot just revealed the return of the Knotfest Roadshow this summer, featuring A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange. The band will also host its first Knotfest in the UK and a cruise, Knotfest at Sea, both on sale now!

Mr. Bungle Confirms They Are Performing Three “Old” New Songs


These Mr. Bungle reunion shows continue to be the gift that keeps on giving. They kicked off their brief mini-tour in Los Angeles this week before convening to the groups home turf of the Bay Area, rounded out by two shows in Brooklyn next week. After confirming the band was creating limited edition poster art for each show, they have now confirmed the “new” songs in the setlist are in fact, updates of unreleased tracks from bands’ earliest days. The three songs are ‘Glutton for Punishment’, ‘Eracist’, and ‘Methamatics’, which was represented on the first show’s setlist as ‘Meth’. Perhaps this means there will be an new EP or Record Store Day Release in the offing, fingers crossed. Continue reading

Arizona Progressive Metal band With Our Arms To The Sun have shared an incredible timelapse video on YouTube of the creation of their current album artwork for The Mogollon Monster. The art and video was created by Jason Farmer (@EvolvingEye). A totally DIY release, the band fully funded the new release with a Kickstarter campaign, the band also launched a Patreon and a Podcast worth checking out. Proggy Supergroup Azusa Shares New Single and Video, New Album Incoming
