Mo’ynoq Drop Their New Single “Hyperstitions” – Split EP with Urocyon Coming Soon


North Carolina black metal outfits, Mo’ynoq and Urocyon, are set to release their new split EP, Mo’ynoq X Urocyon Split 2025, on April 18th. Both bands will trade hometown release shows at Chapel of Bones in Raleigh, NC on April 25th and Static Age Records in Asheville, NC on April 26th. Orthodox Book US Tour Dates – New Album Coming Soon


Nashville metal/hardcore troops, Orthodox, have announced a headlining Summer tour in the US. The run comes in support of their upcoming album, A Door Left Open, due June 6th, through Century Media Records, and kicks off with a hometown release show. Also on the bill are Year of the Knife and Inclination, in addition to Mugshot, Omerta and fromjoy, who join the entire tour. Rising heavy blues powerhouse Dead Groove, born from the creative crucible of 2020’s lockdown, release the EP Rubicon this week. Pressed on crystal clear 10″ vinyl, the release  features a distinctive cover of Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades.” Also included are two coruscating band originals, “Fire” and “The Damned,” the latter spotlighted by Dead Groove’s latest video, an auto-destruction rampage capturing the three-piece in action. Limp Bizkit’s $200 Million Lawsuit Against Universal Music Group Over Copyright Claims Can Move Ahead in Federal Court


According to a published report by Hollywood trade magazine Variety, Limp Bizkit is allowed to move forward with their lawsuit against Universal Music Group. The lawsuit alleges the label deliberately withheld as much as $200 million in royalties from the band since UMG acquired LB’s original label, Flip Records. The claims against the music company range from breach of contract to fraudulent concealment, fraudulent business practices, copyright infringement and more. In a decision filed on March 17, and reviewed by Variety, Judge Percy Anderson ruled Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst will have to refile a majority of his claims in state courts (California or New York). The Judge also denied UMG’s motion to dismiss the band’s allegations of copyright infringement, allowing those claims to proceed in his federal court.Continue reading

Rock musician, actor, songwriter, and film producer, Kurt Deimer, has announced the release of his debut album, And So It Begins…, for Friday, May 9th, via Bald Man Records. He has also dropped the record’s new single, “Big Toe,” along with a music video directed by Paul Boyd (Neon Trees, Dave Stewart, Shania Twain). ALBUM REVIEW: Cradle Of Filth – The Screaming Of The Valkyries


It’s quite astonishing that fourteen albums and thirty-four years into their career, Goth metal act Cradle of Filth are yet to produce something that could be overwhelmingly described as poor. At the top end of the scale we’ve got classics like Dusk and Her Embrace, Cruelty and the Beast, and Midian but at the other end, it’s more a case of least best, rather than worst with not a single St. Anger in sight. Some bands barely get to release two albums without the first rumblings of discontent but while hardcore black metal fans might still turn their noses up, the fact is that Cradle is as popular now as they’ve ever been.
