Kings Destroy Streaming “W2”

Brooklyn stoner/doom rockers Kings Destroy is streaming “W2”, off their self titled full length out May 5, 2015 via War Crimes Recordings below.

The follow-up to last year’s critically-adored A Time Of Hunting full-length was produced and mixed by Sanford Parker (Twilight, Voivod, Eyehategod, Yob etc.) at Studio G in Brooklyn, New York, mastered by Collin Jordan (Eyehategod, Indian, Wovenhand, Voivod etc.) at The Boiler Room in Chicago, Illinois and delivers seven, lead-footed doom rock hymns. With their third album in four years, Kings Destroy leaves their hardcore-born stamp on noise rock and doom. After sharing stages with Pentagram, Winter, Saint Vitus, Church of Misery, Yob, Pallbearer, Vista Chino, Orange Goblin, Trouble, Acid King, Corrosion Of Conformity and so many others, the five-piece stand tall with their defining statement.

The band unites musicians from many of the genres’ most prolific bands. Hailing from the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, Kings Destroy features guitarists Carl Porcaro and Chris Skowronski from legendary, 100K album selling Killing Time, vocalist Steve Murphy from Uppercut, drummer Rob Sefcik formerly of The Begotten, Uppercut, Fur and Electric Frankenstein and bassist Aaron Bumpus.

Minsk Streaming “The Way Is Through”

Minsk is streaming „The Way Is Through“, off of their forthcoming album The Crash & The Draw, out via Relapse Records in North America on April 7th, 2015, April 3rd, 2015 in Germany, Benelux and Finland and April 6th, 2015 in the UK and rest of the world here.

The Crash & The Draw was captured by the band alongside Sanford Parker (Twilight, Voivod, Eyehategod, Yob etc.), mixed by Parker and Minsk at Hypercube and mastered by Collin Jordan (Eyehategod, Indian, Wovenhand, Voivod etc.) at The Boiler Room with additional vocal tracking by Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City, Old Man Gloom, Floor etc.) at Antisleep Audio and further tracking, editing, and mixing by Kevin Rendleman at Trash Rocket Audio and Aaron Austin at We Know Who You Are.

In related news, Minsk will bring their sonic rituals to the stages of Europe next month commencing with an appearance at this year’s Roadburn Fest with additional live ceremonies to be announced in the months to come.

Theories Streaming “Burnt Concrete” Lyric Video

Seattle death grinders Theories is streaming a lyric video for “Burnt Concrete,” off of their new full length release Regression, out March 24, 2015 via Metal Blade Records here.

Regression was tracked at The Red Room and The Boiler Room with producer/engineer Derek Moree (The Sword, Pelican, Minus The Bear et al) with mixing and mastering conducted by Visceral Sound‘s Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed).

In related news, Theories will be making an in-studio performance on KEXP 90.3 in Seattle on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 12:00 am PST as part of KEXP’s Seek And Destroy segment. That following weekend, on Saturday March 21st, 2015, the band will be hosting KISW 99.9 Metal Shop. Stream it live here from 10:00pm – 2:00am PST. Then on Tuesday, March 24th, the day Regression drops, Axler and bassist Kush Karimi will be hosting a DJ night at Linda’s Tavern 9:00pm till 2:00am PST in Seattle where they’ll be spinning the record in its entirety as well as other metal and non metal tunes.

Additionally, Theories is honored to level the stage of the Showbox in Seattle March 31st as area openers for the mighty Decibel Tour. Featuring At The Gates, Converge, Pallbearer and Vallenfyre, the performance will serve as the band’s CD release show.
