Dream Theater Share a Live Video for “Night Terror” – New Live Album Coming Soon

Progressive metal mainstays, Dream Theater, have released a live performance video for “Night Terror.” The track, which has now been nominated for a Grammy (Best Metal Performance), is from their 2025 album, Parasomnia. The live clip previews the band’s upcoming concert film and album, Quarantième: Live à Paris, due out November 28th, via the Inside Out Music/Sony Music labels. It was recorded during their sold-out 40th anniversary tour stop at the Adidas Arena in Paris. Watch it below and find out more.

Karnivool Book a European Tour – New Album Coming Soon

With all live performances concluded for 2025, progressive music titans, Dream Theater, have partnered with AMC Theatres, for advanced cinema screenings of their upcoming live release, Quarantième: Live à Paris. The concert album and film will be available on Blu-ray and CD, November 28th, via the labels Inside Out Music/Sony Music. Karnivool Drop Their Single “Aozora” – New Album Coming Soon

Dream Theater Drop a Single and Video for “Night Terror” – New Album Coming Soon


Prog titans, Dream Theater, have returned with the announcement of their sixteenth studio album, Parasomnia. It is the first album featuring their iconic lineup – vocalist James LaBrie, guitarist John Petrucci, bassist John Myung, keyboardist Jordan Rudess and drummer Mike Portnoy – since 2009’s Black Clouds & Silver Linings, and is due February 7, 2025, via the label Inside Out Music/Sony Music.The band will also celebrate their 40th anniversary on the road, with an extensive live run throughout Europe, and North and South America, from October 20th, and have already released the album’s first single, “Night Terror.” It comes with a music video, directed by Mike Leonard. ALBUM REVIEW: Judas Priest – Invincible Shield


While the philosophy of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” might work for some bands, UK metal gods Judas Priest are clearly not counted among them. Rarely repeating themselves from record to record, Priest have always preferred creativity over repetition, unafraid to take risks even when some level of criticism inevitably follows.

Roger Waters Shares a New Single and Video for a New Version of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb 2022” 


Roger Waters, the co-founder of Pink Floyd, has released a new version of the band’s song “Comfortably Numb,”  “Comfortably Numb 2022” via his long-time label Sony Music. The iconic song originally appeared on the seminal Pink Floyd album, The Wall.  “Comfortably Numb 2022” is now on all streaming platforms, and watch the animated video, produced and directed by Sean Evans with photography by Kate Izor, now!

ALBUM REVIEW: Porcupine Tree – Closure – Continuation


“Progressive rock” is a term that can encompass a wide variety of sounds. At one point or another in their 35-year history, Porcupine Tree — the brainchild of Steven Wilson — have probably touched upon most of these. Having put out several albums of electronica-infused psychedelic space rock since their formation in 1987, the band reached a peak of critical and commercial success in the 2000s with the metal-influenced experimental songcraft exemplified by In Absentia and Fear of a Blank Planet. By the start of 2011, however, Porcupine Tree appeared to be no more, with Wilson announcing a hiatus to focus on his solo career; he stated as recently as 2018 that getting the band back together “would seem like a terribly backward step”.
