One of the rising Extreme Metal festivals in the world, Sátan Festival, takes place today in Stykkishólmi, Iceland, running from June 4- 6. Tickets are still on sale at the links below. With home country post-Rock legends Sólstafir leading the bill, the line-up also includes appearances from stellar acts The Haunted, Voivod, Hamferð, Múr, Aborted, Misþyrming and Nergal of Behemoth in a special performance, Necrowretch, and many more. With Iceland’s deep and progressive black metal scene, and the fest’s ability to pull major bands and exclusive appearances, Sátan Festival is already one of the premier destination metal festivals in the world. Nergal (Behemoth) and Misþyrming, Plus The Haunted, Gavin Portland, Múr, and More Booked for Sátan Festival

Emerging Icelandic metal festival, Sátan Fest, has revealed its final wave of bands for 2026. Included, is a special collaboration between Behemoth frontman, Nergal, and Icelandic black metallers, Misþyrming. They will perform Behemoth’s debut album, Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic), in full. Also joining the bill are Icelandic post-hardcore outfit, Gavin Portland, Swedish thrash pioneers, The Haunted, and Iceland Music Award‘s 2025 “Newcomer of the Year,” Múr. Find out more below.
