David Davidson of Revocation is one of our favorite people in all of metal. We have followed his entire career, and you will be hard pressed to find a person this talented that is also humble and cool. We caught up with Dave at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York to chat with him about the brand new album The Outer Ones, releasing from Metal Blade Records on September 28th. We talked about the decidedly brutal death metal sound of the new album, working with producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris, H.P. Lovecraft and Tom Strom‘s insane artwork, Dave’s guitar practice regimen, Charlie Parker and John Coltrane, and more. Francesco Artusato Talks Light The Torch With Ghost Cult

Over the summer we caught Light The Torch at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, where they played a crushing sold-out show. Before the band hit the stage we caught up with shredder Francesco Artusato about a great many topics. LTT is also comprised of Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engage), Ryan Wombacher on bass, and Extinction A.D. drummer Mike “Scuzz” Sciulara. Jon Paul Davis Of Conan Talks New Album And The State Of Doom Metal

Earlier this year, Conan announced their new album, due out this summer from Napalm Records. Existential Void Guardian promises to build off of the success of 2016’s Revengeance. The band has been especially prolific, also releasing a split EP with Slomatics and their early recordings as the Man Is Myth – Early Demos last fall. Life Of Agony To Kickoff World Tour Tonight With Two Sold-Out Hometown Shows

One of the most quintessential bands to ever come out of New York City in 1990s, Life of Agony, roared back into the mainstream with their acclaimed album A Place Where There’s No More Pain (Napalm Records). After ending 2017 strong with several tours in Europe and an appearance at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest, LOA kicks off a ton of tour dates tonight in their hometown of Brooklyn, at Saint Vitus Bar. Both tonight’s show and tomorrow nights show are sold-out and will offer fans an intimate performance most never get to see. Following Brooklyn, the band will embark on a world tour culminating in a festival date,The Sound of Revolution Festival, in The Netherlands, next fall. All dates are on sale now.
