The Black Dahlia Murder Releases a Charity Tribute Shirt to Trevor Strnad

Six weeks after the passing of their iconic frontman Trevor Strnad, The Black Dahlia Murder has released a charity tribute shirt worldwide. All proceeds will help his family cover expenses incurred by Trevor’s death and benefit the Common Ground Resource & Crisis Center. There has been an ongoing outpouring of love and tributes to Trevor from bands, fans, and friends. IN MEMORIAM: Remembering Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder (1981-2022)

I’m not going to start this write-up and pretend like I have a solution for grief or that I’ve made peace with the fact that Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder is no longer with us. As of this writing, it’s been nearly a week since his passing and frankly, I’m still trying to process that. Telling myself that it can’t be true since I’ve seen Strnad and his bandmates have seemingly all the fun onstage at least seven times.

In time I’ll accept what has occurred. But let’s take a look back.

CONCERT REVIEW: The Bay Strikes Back Tour: Testament –  Exodus – Death Angel live at Newport Music Hall.

The Bay Strikes Back Tour – Testament, Exodus, and Death Angel – brought a massive dose of thrash to the edge of the Ohio State University campus on Wednesday night with their stop at the Newport Music Hall. The tour celebrates the origins of thrash metal stretching back to the late 1970s and early 1980s. It is incredible that these three bands are still standing on the stage and belting out their music for long-time and new fans alike.
