Long-running Belgian Metal Festival Alcatraz 2024 has announced their full lineup! Taking place August 9-11 with a pre-party with Tribute bands on the 8th! Headlined by Architects, Amon Amarth, and Opeth, other bands on the bill featured are Clutch, Cradle Of Filth, Hatebreed, Satyricon, Mayhem, Paradise Lost, Exodus, Watain, Dark Tranquility, Spiritbox, Korpiklaani, Jinjer, Life Of Agony, Armored Saint, Madball, Tnfofficial, Lord Of The Lost, Orden Ogan, Finntroll , Septicflesh, Orange Goblin, Soilthe, Benediction, Brant Bjork, Eclipse, Raven, Terrorizer, Misery Index, Heathen, Green Lung, Legion Of The Damned, Massacre, Monkey3, Cro-Mags, Truck Fighters, Bodysnatcher, Cripple Black Phoenix, Fen , The Casualties, Exumer, Skeletal Remains, Left To Die, Audrey Horne , Thronehammer, and many others are booked for the festival. Dominum Share Cover of Scorpions Hit “Rock You Like A Hurricane”
Zombie metal unit, Dominum, are honoring the 40th anniversary of one of Scorpions’ biggest hits, “Rock You Like A Hurricane,” with their symphonic metal cover version. This spring, the band will also join Feuerschwanz and Orden Ogan on the road, and are currently supporting Peyton Parrish on his already partially sold-out European tour. Hellfest 2024 Books Metallica, Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Body Count, Biohazard, Mr. Bungle and More
Hellfest, held every year just outside of Paris, in Clisson, France, continues to up the ante every year with forever growing and impressive lineups! Taking place from June 27 to June 30, 2024, Hellfest will once again be four days long and over 200 bands appearing on six stages. For 2024, the headliners for each night will be Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Metallica, and Foo Fighters. ALBUM REVIEW: Angus McSix – Angus McSix and the Sword of Power
Addressing an obvious elephant in the room without actually mentioning said elephant, or indeed the massive pile of dung it left behind, is a tricky if not impossible task. With everyone firmly into the swing of things by now, Saturday’s main stage openers Nailed to Obscurity opened proceedings strongly enough but were promptly blown out of the water by one of the major surprises of the festival – Power Trip. Bloodstock Adds More Bands, Releases Day Tickets, And New Entertainment Plans
Bloodstock Open Air, the UK’s biggest independent metal festival, is just six weeks away. The fest will release a limited number of day tickets at 9 am (BMT) this Friday, 29th June! Adult day tickets are priced at £65 (+ booking fee) and child day tickets at £20 (+ booking fee) and will be available at http://bloodstock.seetickets.com. You can still also pick up four-day ‘weekend tickets with camping’, priced £145 (+ booking fee), and children’s weekend tickets at just £35 (+ booking fee). Children under 4 years old go free!
