A Perfect Circle return with “Starless” – a new single from Billy Howerdel and Maynard James Keenan that signals a new dawn for the band, arriving days before they launch their first European/U.K. tour in eight years. Watch it or stream the track here:
After a perfect spring weekend in San Francisco, my fiancé Melissa and I had the atypical experience of checking out a rock band at a Broadway venue where I saw Jesus Christ Superstar a few years ago, The Golden Gate Theatre. I’m sure the staff was not used to seeing fans with the endless black-shirt parade and alternative-rock looks, as opposed to dressed-up musical theater folks. Atypical is a good first qualifier to discuss the artistry of Puscifer, self-described as “the collective unconscious” of its founder, Maynard James Keenan, also of Tool and A Perfect Circle.
With the debut of Puscifer’s new comic book series, “Tales From The Pusciverse,” and two issues already sold out, the band shares an animated adaptation of “Tales From The Pusciverse #2: The Briefcase,” set to “A Public Stoning” from their new album, Normal Isn’t (BMG/Alchemy Records).
