Beyond Vision (Blues Funeral Recordings) marks Acid King‘s fifth full-length album to date and its thirtieth anniversary as a band since their formation. It’s also the follow-up to 2015’s overlooked Middle of Nowhere, Centre of Everything album which Lori referred to in a recent interview on Conan Neutron‘s Protonic Reversal show with a hope of reissuing it at some point. Fingers crossed.
Acid King today announced a headline run of tour dates this October, the first for the band in almost a decade. One of America’s most respected doom acts, the band released their new album Middle of Nowhere, Center of Everywhere in April.
Acid King lead singer Lori S. commented on the tour:
“After touring Europe for the past several years we’re looking forward to traveling across the U.S. and seeing if the beer has gotten any better along the way!”
