Behemoth has shared an epic new music video for their track “Shadows Ov Ea Cast Upon Golgotha” from their EP last year, A Forest, out now via Metal Blade Records. The video, produced by longtime Behemoth collaborators Grupa 13, brings to life some of the spectacular artwork by renowned Polish artist and photographer Sylwia Makris. The band is presently working on new music, a follow-up to their last full-length album, I Loved You At Your Darkest.

Behemoth Announces “In Absentia Dei” Immersive Livestream Event
Extreme Metal legends Behemoth have announced ‘In Absentia Dei’, a groundbreaking immersive livestream spectacular which will broadcast on 5th September 2020 from a secret church location in Poland. The event will be streamed in high definition 4K, with an immersive experience option, allowing viewers to choose from 8 different camera angles in the multi-camera shoot or watch the ‘Director’s Cut’. Special guests at the event will be mysterious black metal avant gardeists, Imperial Triumphant, whose set will come from The Slipper Room in New York City. Behemoth Are Teasing New Music and Visuals
Polish extreme metallers Behemoth are teasing new music and visuals, perhaps for a livestream or home video release across their socials. The band offered fans a new mailing list sign up, which offers fans an early look at the teaser that now went to their social networks. Previously their socials were dark for a short period of time, which is the new standard warning before a big reveal (see also Mastodon, Deftones). The band released a new EP, A Forest, digitally worldwide (with additional physical copies available for purchase) via Metal Blade earlier this year. It was their first new music (aside from a live album tour edition) since their acclaimed release, I Loved You At Your Darkest in 2018.
Behemoth To Release New Music in 2021
In a brand new interview, Behemoth frontman Adam “Negal” Darski has revealed the band will release new music in 2021. Speaking with Ireland’s Overdrive was asked if there are any plans for the band to celebrate its 30th anniversary next year. He responded: “Yes, it will be 30 years of BEHEMOTH. Holy fuck!! [Laughs] Well, I’m going to be straight with you here. I’ve always mocked the fact that in Poland, they always book so many anniversary gigs. No one would give a fuck otherwise. It’s just one fucking anniversary show after another one, and I’m, like, ‘So fucking what.’ I mean, no one really cares.Continue reading
Behemoth To Re-Release Debut EP “And The Forests Dream Eternally” Next Spring
Behemoth will re-release its debut EP, And The Forests Dream Eternally in May, according to a post by frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski. Originally released in 1995 via the Italian label Entropy Productions and reissued in 2005 by Poland’s Metal Mind Records, when three songs from the band’s 1997 sophomore EP Bewitching The Pomerania were added as bonus tracks. Last year And The Forests Dream Eternally was re-released on vinyl by the Back On Black label. The bands’ latest album I Loved You At Your Darkest, was released in 2018 via Metal Blade Records. The group will support Slipknot on an arena tour of Europe and the United Kingdom in January and February. A new live EP will be avaialble for purchase on all dates and are also releasing a deluxe tour edition of the last album as well. Continue reading

Blackened Death Metal legends Behemoth will release a tour edition of their last album, 2018’s, I Loved You At Your Darkest, via their label Metal Blade. The band has debuted a live video from their BBC Radio Sessions and an unreleased documentary “Thou Darkest Art” taken from the band’s career affirming art gallery exhibition in London last year. On the eve of Halloween, I flew into Philly for this massive show. Why? Why not!? A near sold-out Fillmore hosted Behemoth’s the Ecclesia Diabolica America tour 2018. Also on the bill were Swedish legends, At The Gates and the U.S.’s own Wolves At The Throne Room. This was a regular United Nations of metal type of night. Wolves at the Throne Room brought their atmospheric black metal. With keyboards and burning sage and playing just three songs only, they entranced the Philly fans. Continue reading

Not that long ago, in the year 2018: it was a dark time for the rebellion. Generals gathering their black masses on all sides of music fandom, while crowded the field of contenders led by an astronomical number of albums unlistenable, but some really great ones emerged.
