A Rammstein record a mere three years after the last one and preceded by no rumbling stories of friction between bandmates or nebulous warnings of permanent disbandment? The last time the Neue Deutsche Härte/industrial act had such a swift turnaround was when Reise Reise was followed by fun leftovers album Rosenrot a year later, so could this quick release (by their standards anyway) mean Rammstein are actually happy or could it be hinting at something more ominous?
Rammstein released their debut album Herzeleid 25 years ago today, and now in 2020, the album will get a new life. The Industrial Metal greats will release a limited edition remaster of Herzeleid (XXV Anniversary Edition – Remastered) via Vertigo/UMe, on December 4th, 2020. The release will feature the album’s original tracklist on a single CD, housed in a lavish, cross-shaped digipak with deluxe slipcase, and, for the first time ever, the remastered album with HD sound will be available digitally.Continue reading →
