Bloodstock Open Air has added two new bands for 2023, including an all-important third headliner!  to the already impressive lineup! Meshuggah is now the day two headline band, along with the addition of Power metal kings Helloween. Full details are below. Psycho Las Vegas Annouces Their Stage Times for the 2022 Festival


Psycho Las Vegas festival previously confirmed itsineup for their 6th annual fest, added a second wave of bands, as well an expected move to a new location. The fest takes place August 19-21 at Resorts World Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. A Psycho Swim pre-party is set for August 18. Confirming the 2022 edition of Psycho Las Vegas will feature Mercyful Fate (USA-Exclusive Performance), Emperor (USA-Exclusive Performance), Suicidal Tendencies, Mayhem, Watain, Wolves In The Throne Room, Samael, Boris, Mgla, Cirith Ungol, King Woman, Marissa Nadler, Bömbers and Year Of No Light. Hatebreed Announces “20 Years Of Perseverance” Fall 2022 U.S. Tour Bodysnatcher, Dying Wish, Gatecreeper and Bleeding Through


Connecticut hardcore/metal masters Hatebreed will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their “Perseverance” album with a fall 2022 U.S. headlining tour. Support on the trek will come from Bodysnatcher and Dying Wish, with Gatecreeper and Bleeding Through appearing on select dates. The “20 Years Of Perseverance Tour” will kick off October 27 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and runs through November 20 in San Diego, California.

Gatecreeper Announces a Headline Tour of The United Kingdom and Europe


Death Metallers Gatecreeper has announced an extensive run of UK and EU tour dates for this summer in addition to their summer festival plans. These will be their first European dates in five years, ahead of an upcoming tour with Lamb of God, Kreator and Thy Art Is Murder this winter. The band will be supporting their last album, 2022s An Unexpected Reality. Tickets are on sale at 9AM GMT on Friday 25th of March.

Gatecreeper Books a Spring 2022 Headline Tour with Narrow Head, 200 Stab Wounds, and Fearing


Modern Death Metal leaders Gatecreeper has announced a North American headline tour with support from Narrow Head, 200 Stab Wounds, and Fearing. The dates will kick off in Austin, TX on April 21st  and will end with a hometown show in Phoenix, AZ on May 14th. Tickets go on-sale Friday, March 4th at 12:00PM Local Time at the link below. Ghost Cult’s Top Death Metal Albums of 2021


It had been coming for a while… the underground has been festering and bubbling under for the last few years. E-mail comes in from my editor regarding some upcoming reviews. Okay, new Portrayal of Guilt, should be promising. Wait, this must be some kind of mistake on behalf of my editor. I already reviewed Portrayal of Guilt’s We Are Always Alone back in February. Album of the year type stuff. Another e-mail later clarifies that this new album is titled CHRISTFUCKER (Run For Cover). Alright, but who drops multiple LPs in one calendar year?
