Ronny Gutierrez Dismissed from Kobra and The Lotus

There seems to be some trouble in the Kobra and the Lotus camp. It seems guitarist Ronny Gutierrez was fired from the band last week after a blow-up inside the band between him and frontwoman Kobra Paige. The issue stemmed from posts Ronny made about the band being nominated for the 2020 JUNO Awards (the Canadian version of The Grammys). No official announcement has been made yet by the band, but judging from Ronny’s social media posts about this (which you can see below), this relationship not getting repaired and he is moving on. This is a bummer as we are big fans of this up and coming band. KOTL are nominated for their album Evolution out now on Napalm Records and are up against artists such as Striker, Single Mothers Dine Alone, and Lindsay Schoolcraft (Cradle of Filth). Disturbed Shares New Video For “A Reason To Fight”, Launches “You Are Not Alone” Campaign

Disturbed is inspiring their fans to disrupt the twin hells of addition and depression with their new video for their song “A Reason To Fight”. They have also launched the “You Are Not Alone” campaign, enlisting their rabid fanbase to chime in. There have been some bold claims coming out of the Disturbed camp with regards to seventh album Evolution (Reprise Records); and for one of Rock and Metal’s biggest, most successful and most stable acts to be making noises about a release setting them up for the next phase of their career, this must mean the feeling in the camp must be that this album is “the one” – the definitive release. Disturbed Share Lyric Video, And Pro-Shot Release Concert, New Album Out Now

Disturbed’s new album Evolution, is out today via Reprise Records. Last night they played an intimate hometown show in Chicago where they played new songs and hits. At the 1,000-capacity Vic Theatre presented by SiriusXM, saw the band perform the live premieres of the first two singles from Evolution, ‘Are You Ready’ and ‘A Reason To Fight’, You can see pro-shot video from the show below. Disturbed Announces North American Tour With Three Days Grace

Disturbed’s new album Evolution arrives tomorrow, October 19th via Reprise Records. They band has announced a tour of North America with Three Days Grace from January 9th in San Diego, through March 8th new Chicago. All tickets on sale this week. iHeartMedia will present a Disturbed album-release party with at the iHeartRadio Theater in New York on October 19 at 7 p.m. EST.
