Ghost Cult’s Keefy chatted with Lena Scissorhands of Infected Rain! The band just released their first live album and DVD/BluRay – “The Devil’s Dozen” (Napalm Records) from their 2021 global live stream of the same name. In a candid conversation, Lena discussed her struggles of the last few years, celebrating 15 years of the band, her love of music and the fans, getting back to touring, the new music the band is creating, and much more!
In many ways, 2019 has been a banner year for all things Progressive Rock and Metal. Many of the leaders in the genre have brought forth new releases and some exciting newcomers have impressed as well. Ghost Cult has teamed up with ascending group Tylor Dory Trio to première their new single, ‘Dying Light’. The song comes from their forthcoming full-length album, Unsought Salvation. Sonically, the track has key components of the bands’ style molded from their earliest days; contemplative and chill at the start, while simmering up to a tangle of complex motifs, wailing solos, emotional vocals, and dramatic crescendos.
