Lindsay Schoolcraft and Cradle of Filth Have Parted Ways


Sad news as Lindsay Schoolcraft, the longest-tenured keyboardist and backing vocalist in Cradle of Filth has departed the band. The separation was mutual and respectful as Lindsay is focusing on her growing solo career under her own moniker with a JUNO Awards nominated solo-album Martyr, from 2019, and her black metal band Antiqua with Xen of Ne Obliviscaris. The band has replacement selected, but not yet announced. Cradle is working on a new album, which Lindsay has been working on with them. It will be the follow up to Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay, out now via their long-time label Nuclear Blast. Continue reading


Cradle of Filth To Record New Album In 2019


Cradle of Filth has announced in a lengthy Facebook post that they are likely entering the studio later this year to release a new album in 2020. The new album will be the follow-up to 2017s Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay, released via Nuclear Blast and was recorded at Grindstone Studios, Suffolk, U.K. by their longtime collaborator Scott Atkins. Cradle of Filth’s Lindsay Schoolcraft Books Debut Solo Tour Of Australia


Cradle of Filth keyboardist and vocalist Lindsay Schoolcraft is embarking on a tour as a solo artist. She has booked a round of DJ sets in Sydney, Perth and a world-first solo headline show in Melbourne. Schoolcraft’s solo material is described as a blend of Gothic rock, Nu Metal, and subtle electronics. Her solo band even includes some rock royalty, former Evanescence drummer Rocky Gray! Known for her work the last few years in Cradle, she has contributed to their last few albums, Hammer of the Witches and Cryptoriana: The Seductiveness of Decay, and supported the band on several world tours, including Australia, this past spring.
