Sanguisugabogg has announced the departure of longtime guitarist Cedrik Davis. The split is described as mutual, with Davis having been a core part of the band for nearly six of their seven years together. He played a significant role in shaping the Columbus, Ohio, death metal outfit’s sound across their run of records, including their most recent album, Hideous Aftermath, released on Century Media Records in October 2025.

The band acknowledged his contributions in a post to their Facebook: “His contributions in our band will always be honored and never go unnoticed, as well as all the laughs and memories we have made along the way.
