Blue Ridge Rock Festival saga continues! the festival has officially canceled their 2024 event, months after saying they were still trying to hold one in 2024. The festival organizers put out a statement on social media and their website, which you can read below. The article indicates refunds will be issued for the tickets they tried to claim they did not sell for 2024, and they may yet come back for 2025. According to a previously published report by our partners at Lambgoat.com, following the news that Blue Ridge Rock Festival was attempting to sell 2024 passes prior to refunding 2023 ticket holders from last year’s canceled event, BRRF executive producer Cara Fischer gave the statement to local news outlet WDBJ7 clarifying tickets are not on sale and this issue was made worse by the festival’s “outdated website.” As you may recall, the 2023 event was woefully mismanaged before there were severe weather events that impacted bands and fans. The band is being investigated by the State of Virginia, many former partners and contractors, and many fans.
