The session, recorded earlier this month while on their Spring European tour, originally aired Thursday, March 19, before the band was forced to cancel their headlining dates and further tour dates with Russian Circles due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. Slipknot Performs Live at BBC’s Maida Vale Studios


Slipknot stopped by at BBC Radio’s Maida Vale studio during their recent UK tour to perform an intimate live performance. On January 26. 120 fans witnessed the band play a six-song set featuring ‘Unsainted’, ‘Psychosocial’, ‘The Devil In I’, ‘Duality’, ‘Disasterpiece’ and ‘Wait And Bleed’. The audio the entire performance aired on Sunday, February 9th on BBC Radio 1’s “Rock Show” and can be heard at this location. Video footage of the “Unsainted” and “Duality” renditions was uploaded to the BBC Radio 1 YouTube channel and can be seen below. Slipknot just revealed the return of the Knotfest Roadshow this summer, featuring A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange. The band will also host its first Knotfest in the UK and a cruise, Knotfest at Sea, both on sale now!

Blackened Death Metal legends Behemoth will release a tour edition of their last album, 2018’sI Loved You At Your Darkest, via their label Metal Blade. The band has debuted a live video from their BBC Radio Sessions and an unreleased documentary “Thou Darkest Art” taken from the band’s career affirming art gallery exhibition in London last year.
