Rough news for UADA fans, especially in Central America. The band was to take part in two days of gigs at Black Moon Festivals but had to cancel at the 11th hour as their drummer Josiah Babcock was dismissed from the band for apparently opting not to participate in the tour. The band posted a lengthy apology on their Facebook to fans vowing to come back stronger. For his part, Babcock shared on his Facebook page that he had left the band as well, offering his side of the story and alleging bullying from another band member. The Portland, Oregon-based Black Metallers have set the underground on fire since forming in 2014 with tight performances and sick releases. Babcock joined in 2018. UADA has a European tour booked in six weeks or so, pending a fill-in or permanent replacement being announced. Continue reading

Lindsay Schoolcraft and Cradle of Filth Have Parted Ways
Sad news as Lindsay Schoolcraft, the longest-tenured keyboardist and backing vocalist in Cradle of Filth has departed the band. The separation was mutual and respectful as Lindsay is focusing on her growing solo career under her own moniker with a JUNO Awards nominated solo-album Martyr, from 2019, and her black metal band Antiqua with Xen of Ne Obliviscaris. The band has replacement selected, but not yet announced. Cradle is working on a new album, which Lindsay has been working on with them. It will be the follow up to Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay, out now via their long-time label Nuclear Blast. Continue reading
Children Of Bodom Books Final Show with Current Line-Up for Next Month
Legendary Finnish headbangers Children Of Bodom will play their final show with the current line-up this coming December. ”A Chapter Called Children Of Bodom” will take place at the Black Box in Helsinki Ice Hall on December 15th. The band has released a statement that Janne Wirman, Henkka Seppälä, and Jaska Raatikainen are departing the band. This also means that the “Hate Crew Deathroll” special show at Tuska Festival 2020 will be canceled. Tuska festival apologizes for the inconvenience. Kat Katz Quits Agoraphobic Nosebleed
Grindcore legends Agoraphobic Nosebleed, who didn’t perform live until a few short years ago, have had a split in the ranks. Kat Katz has quit the band, according to a post on the bands’ Facebook account. Kat was part of their multi-vocalist attack, but the sole vocalist on their 2016 EP Arc (Relapse).Continue reading
