Riot Fest Announces its Return to Chicago’s Douglass Park After an Initial Move


After deliberations with the Mayor of Chicago’s office, the Chicago Park District’s leadership, and Alderwoman Monique L. Scott, Riot Fest has decided to relocate the festival from the SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview back to its original home at Chicago’s Douglass Park. Linkin Park, System Of A Down, The Offspring, Slayer, Deftones, etc Confirmed For Amnesia Rockfest 2015

The 10th edition of Amnesia Rockfest has announced Linkin Park and System of a Down will be headlining the Friday and Saturday nights of the event respectively. Tim Armstrong (Rancid) and Fat Mike (NOFX) are curators of the 10th anniversary edition.

The Offspring will be doing their album Americana in its entirety; Deftones performing their Around The Fur album in its entirety; and Rancid will be doing their And Out Come The Wolves set.

Some of this year’s new features include having several comedians such as Tom Green, Steve-O from Jackass (first Quebec appearance in 10 years, since the 2004 riot at the Metropolis) and Mike Ward. Several other surprises and secret performances are in store for festival-goers.

After The Fall is releasing their fifth album Dedication on May 12, 2015 via Bridge Nine Records, and is streaming the title track here. The song “Dedication” features Karl Alvarez (descendents) on Bass. Also Chad Price (ALL) and Jon Snodgrass on back up vocals

Recorded at The Blasting Room with prolific punk superproducer Bill Stevenson (Rise Against, NOFX, Alkaline Trio), the veterans pen a riffy and dynamic love letter to their influences and friends come and gone. The LP is a dedication to original bassist and friend Brian J Peters who passed away in October of 2013.

After the Fall formed in 2000 and have released several albums across labels like Paper + Plastick, Mightier Than Sword, Shield and more. More new songs and pre-order info for Dedication coming soon.
