Rush made a stunning and emotional return to the stage last night at the 2026 Juno Awards in Hamilton, Ontario, their first live performance in nearly eleven years and their first since Neil Peart’s passing in 2020. The appearance hints at their upcoming Fifty Something World Tour, starting June 7 in Los Angeles. Watch this below.

At the TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, Rush’s hometown, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson took the stage to open the 2026 Juno Awards ceremony, joined by German drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold. The band opened with “Finding My Way,” the lead track from their 1974 self-titled debut, as clips of the late Neil Peart performing with the band played on screens behind them, for a simple yet powerful tribute.

This performance serves as a preview for the band’s Fifty Something world tour, celebrating five decades of Rush. The tour begins June 7, 2026, at the Forum in Los Angeles. The same venue where the band played their final show with Peart in 2015. The tour will include multiple-night residencies in several major cities.

The return also coincides with the release of a newly expanded edition of Grace Under Pressure, featuring a brand-new mix of the album by original producer Terry Brown, commissioned by Lee and Lifeson. The package includes the first-ever complete concert film and album of their Maple Leaf Gardens show from September 21, 1984, along with Geddy Lee’s first liner notes for a Rush reissue, reflecting on the album over forty years later.
