GhostCultKeefy caught up with Travis, Stephen, and Nick of Tucson, Arizona melodic death metal outfit Wyrmhaven to discuss the band’s debut full-length, “Seasons of Gloom,” released independently on May 29th, 2026. Written during a period of significant loss and perseverance, the record balances dark aggression with personal vulnerability, drawing on the band’s deep reverence for metalcore’s early days while pushing further into melodic death metal territory.
Seasons of Gloom was produced by the band and Ryan Bram, known for his work with Gatecreeper, Spirit Adrift, and Terminal Nation, engineered by Ryan Bram, and mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren, whose credits include Machine Head, Fallujah, Entheos, and All Shall Perish. Cover art comes courtesy of Adam Burke of Nightjar Illustrations. The record is available on limited edition vinyl and digitally through the Wyrmhaven Bandcamp page.
