The limited-edition two-disc release features a newly remastered version of In Your Face (originally released in 1986) on Disc One, and Cover Your Face on Disc Two — a newly curated tribute album featuring artists from across the globe. Newly announced contributors include Bite Me Bambi, who takes on “Cholly,” and Open Mike Eagle, who delivers his own twist on “Knock It.” They join a previously announced lineup that includes Twin Shadow, Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, Catbite, Wheatus, The Ratchets, Silversun Pickups, Kimya Dawson, comedian Dave Hill, and Doom Regulator.

Reflecting on the milestone, Fishbone’s Christopher Dowd says, “Celebrating 40 years of In Your Face is surreal. That record was our introduction to the world, and to see it still resonate with people and to hear these incredible artists reinterpret it on Cover Your Face is something we’re deeply grateful for.”

Each vinyl copy includes special collector inserts, as well as additional limited-edition tour variants, independent retail pressings, and exclusive editions to be announced. Fishbone is also currently working on a new studio album slated for release this summer.

The band will be touring in support of the reissue, performing In Your Face in its entirety at each stop, followed by a second set of career-spanning fan favorites. For the first time in their touring history, Fishbone is offering an expanded VIP experience, including a meet and greet, exclusive merchandise, and Fishbone Karaoke — where attendees take the stage backed by the band and choose from a curated setlist spanning their full catalog.
