“This album has an important message, not just screaming over killer drums and riffs. The titular bell has many meanings: a funeral bell, tolling your life away. The march of endless wars. Or is it the bell that declares you cancer-free, as in Mark’s case? The message here seems to be that even with all the apathy and other enshitification we are living through, it certainly can feel insignificant at times. But the goal is not to waste your chance, whatever that looks like for you. The Ringing Bell is a call to arms, but most of all a call to kill the self-doubt within you; a voice made raw from screaming bitter truths aloud. Not only was this the album the band was destined to make, but easily one of the heaviest, most uncompromising albums of 2026!”
