Florida metalcore titans Wage War have announced their upcoming EP, It Calls Me By Name, arriving April 17th, 2026, via Fearless Records. The five-track release pushes the band further into aggressive territory while maintaining the massive hooks that define their sound. Fans can pre-save the EP at the links below. To mark the announcement, the band has unveiled the video for the crushing first single, “Song Of The Swamp.” The track is one of their heaviest offerings in years.

Inspired by their Florida roots, the song channels the danger and intensity of the swamp. Think alligators, anacondas, and apex predators striking without warning. Musically, the track mirrors that violence. Serrated riffs cut through the mix. Drums hit with punishing force. Briton Bond delivers some of his most ferocious vocals to date. As the lyrics snarl, listeners will feel “overpowered” from start to finish.

The band calls the song “the tone setter.”
