Good Charlotte – Sleeping With Sirens – Knuckle Puck: Live At The Worcester Palladium

Heading into the newly renovated Worcester Palladium, I didn’t really know what to expect. I have been coming to shows here for years, all the way back to 2005 to be exact. And to be honest, I had grown accustomed, even fond, of the “hole-in-the-wall” look of it all. Both upstairs and down. Continue reading

The Public Memorial For Oli Herbert Of All That Remains Will Be This Weekend

After a private funeral service was held for Oli Herbert, the public memorial for the late All That Remains guitarist will be held on Sunday, November 11 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Worcester Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Palladium is practically the bands’ hometown venue and they played there many times. The memorial service will be open to the public with entrance on a “first-come, first served” basis for up to 350 people. An optional donation of $10 per person is suggested for admission to benefit the 14th Hour Foundation, a charity that was very important to Oli. Kris Paronto, founder of 14th Hour Foundation, appeared in the new ATR music video for the track ‘Madness’. Each person who donates $10 will receive a raffle ticket for door prizes to be raffled during the service. The memorial service will include a special video presentation to include photos, music videos and artist tributes. Fans are invited to contribute photos taken of Oli at shows and/or with themselves and Oli. Submissions should be sent no later than noon on Thursday, November 8 to Suzanne Penley via e-mail to: suzanne@suzannepenley.com. Judas Priest – Saxon – Black Star Riders: Live At Worcester Palladium

On Friday, March 23rd, Judas Priest rolled into the newly renovated Worcester Palladium for a sold-out date on their Firepower Tour with legends Saxon and Black Star Riders. What a breath of fresh air this show was. I honestly can’t remember the last concert I attended that did not have at least one band on the bill with some sort of controversy surrounding them or was not inclined to espouse their political beliefs on stage (whether for the better or worse). This tour is just a class act from start to finish. No bullshit, no drama, no politics, just good old Rock n’ Roll, and Metal.Continue reading
