Guns N Roses performed for the first time in the United Arab Emirates Sunday night (November 25), a highly-anticipated concert event in the city of Abu Dhabi and an expected highlight of the nearly three-year-long “Not in This Lifetime Tour”. Sadly, the band cut their set short, after singer W. Axl Rose performed ill most of the night and ultimately couldn’t finish the show. He actually told the crowd he was ill and apologized a few times including “They’ve got me on IVs and a bunch of injections, ’cause I got sick today, I’ve been throwing up for about the last five hours. So, instead of canceling, I’m gonna do the best show we can for you.”
The band issued apologies after the show, but fans who waited years to see them were understandably upset. Continue reading
