Guns N’ Roses’ and their label UME/Geffen will cvelebrate 31 years of history of their landmark Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II albums in a massive boxed set over many different formats, for release on November 11, 2022. The super deluxe set of collections feature a total of 97 tracks, 63 are previously unreleased. Available in multiple configurations including a Super Deluxe Seven-CD + Blu-ray, a Super Deluxe Twelve-LP + Blu-ray, Two-CD Deluxe Editions of Use Your Illusion I & II separately, standard 1CD and 2LP versions of Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II separately. On July 26th, the Ume label is releasing Soundgarden’s Live From The Artists Den, a phenomenal live package from Soundgarden, and a completely pro-shot multi-angle, immaculate sounding recording for the February 17th, 2013, “King Animal” tour-ending performance in the intimate Wiltern in Los Angeles. The band performed for almost three hours and played a deep set of new songs and rarities performed live for the first time in front of a rapturous crowd. The concert has become the all-time most requested live show for an official release by the band. The 29-song, nearly two-and-a-half-hour show encompasses the band’s rich musical legacy, spanning their early years with “Hunted Down”, through their monumental albums “Badmotorfinger” and “Superunknown”, respectively, with “Outshined” and “Black Hole Sun”, and to their final record, with nearly every song from “King Animal”, including “By Crooked Steps” and “Been Away Too Long”. “Live From The Artists Den” features 21 songs never before released on a Soundgarden concert film, including 17 making their first appearance on a live album, and highlighted by “Blind Dogs”, which the band performed on stage for the first time ever at the Wiltern show. Now they have released the full track listing and album artwork, very apropos of the bands’ wild live performances, an image of an unlit match.
