For the second year in a row, the organizers of Desert Daze scheduled for October 10-13, 2024 in Lake Perris, CA are heartbroken to announce that Desert Daze 2024 is canceled. All pass holders will be refunded, and will be contacted directly via their point of purchase. The organizers blamed increased production costs. Originally scheduled for Oct. 10, 11, 12 and 13, the independent fest was set to host Jack White, Fleet Foxes, SLEEP, The Mars Volta Cigarettes After Sex, Liz Phair, Thundercat, Power Trip, Converge, All Them Witches, Drab Majesty, among others. Fans will be able to enjoy a diverse lineup of local and national musical acts across three days and five stages. Three-day passes are available for $99 through April 2; for $125 between April 3 and July 4; and for $150 beginning July 5. VIP tickets will also be available for $250 and will include limited edition apparel, access to the outdoor VIP beer garden with hosted snacks and beverages, a CHBP poster, and gifts from the sponsors.
The full musical lineup and single day pass prices and availability will be announced in early June. Details regarding the visual arts program, creative installations, digital activities and more will be announced at a later date.

Gang of Four Releasing What Happens Next in February, North American Tour in March
UK post-punk legends Gang of Four will release their new album What Happens Next on February 24th via Metropolis Records in North America and Membran in Europe.
Produced and written by Andy Gill in London, this is the first new album to not feature vocalist Jon King, who departed in 2012. The record features collaborations with Alison Mosshart of The Kills (check out “Big Talk” here), Robbie Furze (The Big Pink), Gail Ann Dorsey, German superstar Herbert Gronemeyer and Japanese superstar Hotei. Gang of Four is Gill (guitar), John “Gaoler” Sterry (vocals), Thomas McNiece (bass) and Jonny Finnegan (drums).
Gang of Four will be touring North America in March 2015. Dates are posted below.
