Anthrax Performs “Now It’s Dark” for the First Time in 27 Years


Anthrax is currently on tour in Europe, performing at festivals and headline dates, still supporting their 2016 album For All Kings (Megaforce/Nuclear Blast Records). The band has started to change up their setlist finally on this tour after a lot of repeated songs on opening slots on tours. The band performed the song ‘Now It’s Dark’ for the first time in more than twenty-seven years on June 8 at Batschkapp in Frankfurt, Germany. The band played it again the following night at the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen. Anthrax To Release 30th Anniversary Edition Of “State Of Euphoria” This Fall


Anthrax’s 1988 album State Of Euphoria is getting a deluxe reissue this fall from Island Records/Ume/Universal Music. The package was shepherded by drummer Charlie Benante and will consist of two discs: Disc One is the fully remastered album, all of the B-sides originally released in conjunction with the album, and ‘Antisocial’ recorded live in London at the Hammersmith Odeon in March of 1989. Disc Two, “Charlie’s Archives”, is a real treasure trove for fans as it puts you right in the room with the band as the album’s songs evolved. The package also includes a 20-page booklet that will take you right back to the time of the album’s release. The album will also be issued as a 2-LP set on standard black vinyl and limited edition red and yellow colored vinyl. Both versions are available for pre-order now.Continue reading


Anthrax Has Eight New Songs Written For Next Album, State Of Euphoria Reissue Planned
