Produced by Will Yip, the album is a carefully focused and personal album that spans mewithoutYou’s impressive career. From the frightened intensity of Catch Us For the Foxes and [A -> B] Life to the subdued and urgent Ten Stories, the band has truly created an album in their new LP that compliments and expands on their incredible 15 year existence. Virginia’s Turnover is streaming their first track “Cutting My Fingers Off,” from their upcoming record Peripheral Vision, out on May 4, 2015 via Run For Cover Records below.

Recorded with Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA, Peripheral Vision is a massive leap forward for Turnover, combining melancholy, textured guitars riffs and sincere vocals to create an expansive album as gorgeous as it is pensive.

Turnover formed in Virginia in 2009 and released their debut full-length, Magnolia in 2013 on Run For Cover Records, in addition to numerous EPs and splits. The band has toured the US and the UK multiple times, just this week embarking on a six-week spring tour (all dates below).

They had a busy year in 2014 touring with Whirr, Nothing, and Basement, as well as recording Further Out, the band’s upcoming full length record at Earth Analog Studios with Matt Talbott (Hum/Centaur) set for release on January 20, 2015. Cloakroom and Talbott recorded the album 100% analog, from recording to mixing to mastering to creating the vinyl parts.
