Machine Head Observes the Anniversary of “Through the Ashes of Empires”
In a message to fans, Machine Head has posted a tribute to their album Through The Ashes of Empires (Roadrunner) which eventually put them back on the map after several years being an unsigned band and almost breaking up. Eight months later they were resigned to Roadrunner and re-released the album. The band reminisced about the struggles to make the album and the eventual triumph. Korn Shares their Performance Video for Their Single “You’ll Never Find Me”
Korn’s released their album The Nothing recently (Roadrunner/Elektra Records) to acclaim. Produced by their collaborator Nick Raskulinecz (Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Mastodon), the band has taken their sound up a notch almost twenty-five-plus years after their debut. They just released the new official live performance video for the single ‘You’ll Never Find Me’ which you can see below. The clip was directed by Sebastien Paquet and filmed on Korn’s 2019 North American summer co-headline tour with Alice In Chains. Slipknot Reveals Full Tour Routing for Europe 2020, Behemoth to Open on All Dates
Slipknot has revealed the full details of its early 2020 European tour. Direct support will come from Behemoth! The 28-date trek will kick off in Dublin on January 14 and will include eight dates in the U.K. before playing 19 shows across continental Europe, with the final show taking place in Helsinki on February 24. Machine Head’s Burn My Eyes Turns 25
We spend a lot of time talking about Machine Head around HQ, and rightly so. They are one of the most influential bands in metal, specifically their very early years 1994 -1997 and their fertile middle era 2003 – 2011. It all started with the granddaddy of them all, Burn My Eyes (Roadrunner Records). Not only was this album a banger right from the get-go, but Machine Head became one of the preeminent bands throughout the 1990s on Roadrunner, along with Type O Negative, Sepultura, and Biohazard.
