Stone Temple Pilots absolutely lit up Concrete Street Amphitheater on November 6, 2025, and man… what a night. The last time I saw them was way back in 1993 at the old Memorial Coliseum (RIP to that legendary building). I still remember being completely floored by the power of their sound—like they punched a hole straight through my teenage brain and rewired it with pure rock.

A Biopic Based on Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver) Has Been Optioned Based on his Memoirs 


According to a published report by The Hollywood Reporter, a biopic on Scott Weiland, the tragic late singer of Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver, The Wildabouts and his solo material, is in the works. Dark Pictures and Orian Williams have acquired the book rights to “Not Dead & Not For Sale”, Weiland’s memoir that was written with David Ritz. Jennifer Erwin, who co-founded Dark Pictures with Anne Beagan and is said to be a “diehard” STP fan, will pen the script for the film adaptation of Weiland’s life. The book was a “warts and all” depiction of Weiland’s life
