According to a published report from Billboard.com, KISS has sold its catalog of music, along with its brand name and their IP to a Swedish company Pophouse Entertainment Group in an estimated deal of over $300m. Pophouse owns similar rights to Cyndi Lauper’s catalog and brand IP. The band shared an announcement video explaining the deal, which you can watch now! KISS played the final show of their career as a touring band in December 2023 at their hometown venue, Madison Square Garden.

Kiss Appears On “America’s Got Talent”, Announces New Farewell Tour
Members of Kiss appeared tonight on the season 13 finale of America’s Got Talent. During the show, the band announced their farewell tour named “One Last Kiss: End Of The Road World Tour”. The tour is expected to kick off in 2019 and last until 2022. KISS co-frontman Paul Stanley remarked “This is gonna be our last tour. It will be the most explosive, biggest show we’ve ever done. People who love us, come see us. If you’ve never seen us, this is the time. This will be the show.” Kiss previously performed a “Farewell Tour” in 2000-2001. Kiss To Reissue 1978 Solo Albums In Deluxe Set
On this day in 1978 the four founding members of Kiss: Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss released their solo albums on the same day. They are charted and sold millions since Kiss were the biggest band in the world at this time. The band will now release the ‘The Solo Albums – 40th Anniversary Collection’, a limited-edition 180-gram 4LP box set by Casablanca/UMe that’s earmarked for release on October 19th.
