Moths Announce 2023 USA Tour Dates
Touring in support of last year’s Space Force album Puerto Rican prog/stoner rockers Moths have announced a string of US dates for this fall. The upcoming trek kicks off in Asheville, NC on October 14, with the band returning home to wrap the tour in Santurce, PR on October 28th. Find out more in the article below.
ALBUM REVIEW: Moths – Space Force
Moths, the five-piece stoner/prog outfit from San Juan, Puerto Rico, take a voyage into space on their debut LP. As cosmic and inter-galactic as the results are, this mission perhaps required more focus, more direction and a tad more discipline. The myriad metal genres, frequently-changing time signatures and disparate musical sections idiosyncratically grafted together into songs can make it hard to grasp or nail down any plan behind it all.
Calamity Announces New Lineup, New Album in The Works
Puerto Rican Thrash Metal titans Calamity have announced the addition of Weslie Negrón (Moths) taking over bass guitar duties. The band is currently finishing the writing process of their new album and will enter the studio for a later 2021 or early 2022 release. This will be the follow-up to their 2019 album Kairos.
