Avant-garde Rock supergroup Tomahawk will release its first full-length album in eight years, Tonic Immobility, on March 26 via Ipecac Recordings. The band features Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard, Unsemble), Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Fantômas), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, co-owner of Ipecac) and John Stanier (Helmet, Battles), and the band dropped a new single and visualizer for “Business Casual” which you can hear now!

UPDATED: Supergroup Tomahawk (Faith No More, Jesus Lizard, Battles) Teases New Album and Music
Legendary avant-garde rock supergroup Tomahawk, comprised of current and former members of Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Jesus Lizard, Helmet, Battles, and more, has dropped a video teaser! You can hear new music and this may mean we will get news of a new album, too The teaser was shared via the Ipecac Records social media pages, which is the bands’ label, co-owned by frontman Mike Patton. The band has not released new music since 2013’s Oddfellows. Last year, guitarist Duane Dennison revealed the band was working on a new album. The full reveal is expected on January 21st, 2021! Dead Cross Shares New Video for “Skin of A Redneck”
SoCal Hardcore Supergroup Dead Cross featuring Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Tomahawk), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox), and Michael Crain (Retox, Festival Of Dead Deer), has shared a new video for “Skin Of A Redneck”. The track is taken from their self-titled EP, which was released in 2018 via Ipecac Recordings. Watch it below. Look, the world is completely in garbage mode at the moment, but would new music from one Mike Patton make waking up less dreadful? How about Patton fronting a Thrash metal act? Sweetens the deal up a bit, right? Fortunately for all of us Mike Patton has reactivated Mr. Bungle, recruited a couple of talented newcomers in Scott Ian and Dave Lombardo, and decided to re-record the 1986 demo The Raging Wrath of The Easter Bunny (Ipecac).
Mr. Bungle Announce Live Stream Event for Halloween
Mr. Bungle will release The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo, on Oct. 30 via Ipecac Recordings, have announced a Halloween special: “The Night They Came Home!” a virtual live concert experience. The special event will feature a performance from the current incarnation of Mr. Bungle: Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn, Trey Spruance, Scott Ian and Dave Lombardo. Tickets are $15 and available now at the link below. The first screening airs at 12 noon pacific/3 pm eastern on Oct. 31 with the on-demand program available for the following 72 hours. Mr. Bungle Teases New Song Coming Later This Week
Mr. Bungle is teasing a new song, coming later this week, Thursday, August 13th! The band earlier this summer shared their cover of The Exploited’s political punk anthem ‘USA’! That single and limited edition t-shirt is out now with 100% of proceeds donated to Musicares Covid-19 Relief Fund! The Bay Area band, whose current incarnation features original members Trevor Dunn, Mike Patton (Faith No More, Dead Cross) and Trey Spruance with Scott Ian (Anthrax, S.O.D) and Dave Lombardo (Dead Cross, ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies), has recorded new music for an EP release, potentially including the seminal demo The Raging Wrath of The Easter Bunny, and new covers and new versions of unreleased songs the band played on their February mini-tour.

The clips feature the Rager teaching you Spanish, one word at a time. Recently Mr. Bungle covered S.O.D.’s “Speak Spanish of Die” (as did Mike again recently with SOD!) a version of “Speak English or Die”. Watch Dead Cross Cover Black Flag’s Protest anthem “Rise Above” in Solidarity with Black Lives Matter
Dead Cross (Faith No More, ex Slayer, The Locust, Retox members) has been working on a new album for release at some point in 2020, but today they shared a cover as a new single. Black Flag’s searing ‘Rise Above’ has been covered by the band in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. The band shared a video and a mission statement for the track you can see here.
Dead Cross – Rise Above (Black Flag cover) created in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and staunchly opposing police brutality and systemic racism. As such, the track opens with a recording of a Los Angeles resident voicing his displeasure with the LAPD during a public comment period from a regularly scheduled LA police commission meeting.
