Today, rock n roll legends KISS announced the absolute final shows of their final tour, The End Of The Road Tour. Produced by Live Nation, these final show dates will kick off this October and culminate in a massive show in the city where it all began for KISS. New York City has been a part of the band’s ethos and storyline for more than four decades, so they felt it fitting to culminate an iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-worthy career on stage at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden.  Continue reading

Foo Fighters gave their fans a belated Christmas present as they shared the full pro-shot concert video from their return to the stage in 2021, as the band re-opened Madison Square Garden on June 20, 2021 with a sold out show as the first major concert in the USA after the initial pandemic began. Watch Dave Chappelle Cover Radiohead’s “Creep” On Stage with Foo Fighters


Comedian Dave Chapelle joined Foo Fighters on stage at Madison Square Garden for their show last night, June 20th, 2021. They covered the Radiohead pop rock classic “Creep” with Dave on lead vocals. Dave is actually a skilled Jazz pianist who used to personally chose the musical guests on his series Chappelle Show series. Chappelle, who was in New York City to premiere his new documentary, “Dave Chappelle: This Time This Place”, at the Tribeca Festival, previously sang “Creep” live several times over the years. Rage Against The Machine Adds Additional Dates to Their World Tour


Rage Against The Machine has booked additional dates to its previously announced reunion tour. The trek, which will feature legendary rap duo Run The Jewels (Killer Mike and El-P) in direct support, will now include five shows at the Madison Square Garden in New York City: on August 10, 11 13, 14 and 17. Tickets to the newly added concerts on August 14 and August 17 will go on sale on Thursday (February 27) at 11 a.m. Also newly added is a second date in East Troy, Wisconsin.Continue reading

The lights came up… and it was all over.

This has been the scenario for thousands of shows I have seen. Maybe 6,000 plus shows that I have attended or performed in since I was a small child. The final bow, thunderous applause, and the blinding lights of the house coming on, our shared experience ending as we gather ourselves to go to the bar, or home. Except this was different. This was the last time I would ever see Slayer. It was definitely hitting me, long before the final notes of ‘Angel of Death’ rang out and the final jets of pyro screamed across the top of the band in a way that would excite Beavis and Butthead to no end. Glenn Danzig Says Upcoming New York City Show Will Be Final Misfits Reunion Show


In an interview at the premiere of Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell movie the other night, Glenn Danzig was quoted as saying nest month’s show at Madison Square Garden, on October 19, will be the last. The initial comeback performance by MISFITS members Danzig, Jerry Only and Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein took place at the 2016 Riot Fest. The estranged bandmates played together for the first time since 1983 and were backed by former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and guitarist Acey Slade.Continue reading


Joe Perry Rushed To Emergency Room After Collapsing Post-Concert In New York


 

After performing as a special guest of Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden, Aerosmith legend Joe Perry collapsed and was rushed to the Emergency Room in New York City late Saturday night.. Perry remains under observation His publicist has posted a statement about his condition. Perry had just finished playing “Walk This Way” with Joel and had gone back to his dressing room. Paramedics rushed to the scene and worked on the 68-year-old for around 40 minutes. A trachea was put down his throat to clear the air path. The ambulance personnel then put the guitarist on a stretcher, gave him oxygen and rushed him to a hospital.Continue reading


UPDATED: Ozzy Osbourne And Megadeth US Tour Dates Leaked


Ozzy Osbourne recently announced that he rescheduled the four shows he had to postpone recently due to continues surgeries on his right hand for next July. Now two new dates have appeared on both Facebook and Ozzy’s website for New York City’s Madison Square Garden June 11th and in Bangor Maine on June 15th. Direct support will come from Megadeth since leg two opener Stone Sour will be off the road with Slipknot on tour in Europe. It’s likely a major announcement will be forthcoming with more chances to see the Prince of Darkness do an extended run of tour dates on US soil one more time. Leonard Cohen Wins The Grammy For Best Rock Performance For You Want It Darker


The 60th Annual Grammy Awards is taking place today at New York’s Madison Square GardenLeonard Cohen posthumously took home the award for Best Rock Performance for ‘You Want It Darker’ from his 2016 album of the album of the same name. Cohen passed away late in 2016 at age 82. Continue reading
